Our solution

The blinds industry is a highly competitive market. For a local company like Queen Blinds to be competitive, we had to think of something different. We researched key areas and analysed what the demand was for blind fitting in these areas. What was missing from the national companies was a free measurement and fit service. We leveraged on this and promoted this as a main USP (unique selling point).

Our plan

We targeted key areas like Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Leamington Spa etc and worked out the demand for a blind fitting service. We were able to see what people were searching for online using keyword research techniques. We then assessed the competition on page 1 to make sure we could get the clients the results they needed.

The results

Queen Blinds now enjoys page 1 position in all our target areas and is growing as a business. The bulk of new business now comes via the website. The client is now in a position to take his business national.
